Just like in Bike Week, this annual motorcycle rally brings visitors from all over for this four-day rally loaded with entertainment, food & drinks, shopping, and more!
Biker culture has grown exponentially over the years, and it’s not just about motorcycles anymore.
The Biketoberfest® Motorcycle Rally has expanded its reach by embracing all types of enthusiasts who may or may not ride but appreciate being part of a community that loves what they do on two wheels!
Biketoberfest® is referenced as the “little brother” to the Daytona Beach Bike Week event in the spring.
It's a four-day celebration of all things motorcycle, held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida. Held in the fall and is one of the last big events of the riding season (at least for those in the Northeast). It is family-friendly and features concerts and events for all ages to enjoy.
The festival has been going on since 1992, making the 2024 event its 32nd anniversary!
Each year the event has grown as they add more activities, events, and entertainment for bikers to enjoy during their stay.
The 32nd annual “Official Motorcycle Event of Daytona Beach” is set for Thursday-Sunday, October 17 - 20, 2024, on Main Street in Daytona Beach.
Bikers are welcome to participate in this four-day celebration of bikes, bands, and brews.
There will be plenty of events and activities for participants to enjoy during their visit. The schedule includes live music and concerts, and vendor booths offering everything from clothing to accessories to food vendors providing delicious eats!
Halifax Area Advertising Authority, the Biketoberfest® event’s organizing authority, estimates the attendance figure to be approximately 100,000. However, entry to the event is free without a ticket, so determining a true attendance figure is nearly impossible.
Needless to say, regardless of the actual number of motorcycle riders, this iconic motorcycle rally is not one to be missed.
Of course, there is much more to Biketoberfest than just the motorcycle rally itself.
With concerts, events, morning group rides, and activities planned throughout Daytona Beach and surrounding areas, there's something for every motorcycle fan throughout the weekend.
Here's a quick look at some of what's in store:
Live music at night - Enjoy free live performances by bands like Runaway June and Jukebox the Ghost at venues including Peabody Ballroom, Ocean Center, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

If you have time before the festival starts or after it ends, take the Old City Ride day trip to St. Augustine (which is just 20 minutes from Daytona). The historic city has plenty of shops and restaurants to explore before returning home for the night.

Florida has some unique rules when it comes to motorcycles. Here are some of the most important ones:
Motorcycle Helmet Law: Riders aged 21 or older may choose whether to use a helmet if they meet the required motorcycle insurance requirements. However, Florida does require eye protection.
Age Requirements: Riders must be at least 16 years old to operate a motorcycle on public streets or highways in Florida.
Passengers: Passengers can ride only if there is a dedicated seat for them and if the operator is not already carrying two passengers (including the operator).
This event has been trademarked by The City of Daytona Beach (citycouncilresolution#05-1322), which maintains that this trademark does not just refer to an individual event but also includes other similar events during Bike Week®.
